Youth Club
St James’ Youth Club has been  running now for 20+ years. It is run on a voluntary basis and is completely self-sufficient. Members do not necessarily have to belong to St James’ church and the club is open to anyone, male and female, between the ages of 11-16 years.
The aim of the Youth Club is to teach children to work in teams and be interactive and respect other peoples’ property.
We are fully insured by the church insurance, all staff are CRB’d and we have a qualified first-aider.
We do not have any computers or electronic games, except for air hockey, but do games such as skittles (made with pop bottles), pool, table football, table tennis, basket ball, shuffle board, crab football, softball rounders and all the usual popular table games, to name but a few, and of course we have a coffee bar.
Members have a 10pin bowling trip usually once a year.

The club meets during term time on a Wednesday evening 7.30-9.30pm in the Church Hall, Avondale Drive and there is a membership/weekly fee which is minimal.
If this appeals and you fit the criteria, come along and try it.
