DO YOU ENJOY DRAMA, GAMES AND MEETING NEW PEOPLE?
WELL, CHRISTIAN CREW IS JUST WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR!!
At Christian Crew we try to build on our Christian faith by doing all of the above and more. We aim to see how the bible relates to us. We have done this by a mixture of role-plays, discussions and meditations.
Christian Crew has socials throughout the year and has been to Southport, ten pin bowling, zap zone, the cinema and has pizza nights.
We debate issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, body image, peer pressure, sexuality and other faiths.
We meet one a fortnight on a Monday evening 7-8.30pm at St Paul’s Church of England Primary School in Farington Moss.
I highlight again the need for two volunteers to come forward to help lead the Christian Crew with effect from September 2008
It is important for both parishes that a post confirmation programme is available for our young people through which they can develop their Christian faith. Please continue to commit to your prayers and contact me as soon as possible if you feel able to contribute to ensure continuance of the Christian Crew.
